  • Goldilocks School - not too big, not too small, just right! Our size allows us to create a tight-knit community. Our staff gets to know all of the kids & kids know/recognize them. Our school becomes an extension of your family.

  • Welcoming environment - We create an environment that provides an opportunity for parents to establish community and form friendships with other parents and teachers.

  • Dedicated Staff - Teachers are passionate about learning best practices and providing the most developmentally appropriate environment for their classes. Several staff members have been here over 10 years, helping provide consistency and mentoring for new teachers.

  • Ongoing Training - We are members of the Early Childhood Christian Directors Association (ECCDA). The annual ECCDA conference provides our teachers with valuable professional development, in addition to the training and on-going mentoring provided by our Development Team.

  • Experienced Development Team to ensure our teachers are up to date on all the best practices and ensure our curriculum is meeting the CO Early Learning Guidelines.

  • We plan intentional and purposeful events throughout the year to help foster a strong sense of community.

  • Half-day and Full Day programs use High Scope Curriculum’s hands-on instructional methods to meet the Colorado Early Learning Guidelines (state standards), helping develop the skills needed for educational success.

  • Full day Pre-K and Junior K classes also provide opportunities for specialized STEM curriculum and additional phonics/reading instruction.

  • Designated Specials room to enrich our curriculum

  • School-wide monthly Bible focus - Our Character Building Curriculum aligns with the Fruit of the Spirit allowing us to focus on the social-emotional development of children. We instill the importance of emotional regulation and empathy by teaching ways to resolve social conflicts, make friends, and manage frustration.

  • Handwriting without Tears (HWT) workbooks are utilized in our Junior Kindergarten classes.  All other classes use HWT methods to teach developmentally appropriate pre-writing skills.

WE ARE COLORADO SHINES RATED

After an evaluation of our preschool and teachers in 2022, we received a level four rating from Colorado Shines! This puts us in an elite group of rated schools in Colorado!

Colorado Shines is the State of Colorado's Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS). It assigns a quality rating to licensed early care and education programs caring for children 5 years of age and younger.

This achievement is a reflection of our outstanding program and commitment to quality education. We look forward to serving the families of Parker for many years to come.
